There’s a good chance AI will have better ideas than us within a few years. I don’t see why “taste” and direction are uniquely human, like many people say. If an AI can train on it, it can learn it.

Even today, given the right constraints and a bit of guidance on how to think about it, AIs can generate really good ideas across domains. Plus if you have AIs generate dozens of ideas, have another AI grade them against a rubric, and choose the best, they get even better.
