All of this happened because there was a $14 million betting pool on Polymarket regarding whether Iran would attack Israel. This report caused many who bet against an attack to lose money, so these individuals pressured and coerced the reporter to update the report to state that what fell to the ground was intercepted missile debris, rather than a complete missile, as Polymarket's criteria is that a complete missile must land on Israeli territory.
