There are multiple flags surrounding Trove and its founder @unwisecap. The @unwisecap X account appears to be an aged account used to establish credibility. The account was registered in May 2021, but its first original post was on July 29, 2025. Prior to that, the account only made sporadic reposts, to appear active. The username was changed twice before “unwisecap” in July 2025 (previous usernames do not appear to be genuine identities). The co-founder’s account appears to be based in North America and connected to Europe while the Trove X account shows East Asia. Bonus: in about, 40 minutes ago, a wallet linked to the Trove angel wallet deposited its final $47.2K into an instant exchange, with the destination traced to Ethereum.
