Yeah this “thoughtful” local idiot conflates a few streets in midtown with what people are dealing with in the boroughs. Maybe he will take a trip to Staten Island and see how the other 90 per of NYers live. Good luck with convincing the locals they’ve never had it better, champ. You will need it. Sad ha!

For the record: It’s been widely reported that the @washingtonpost laid off the equivalent of a third of its newsroom last week. Terrible enough, but this appears to understate what happened.
