In 2010, Bitcoin was $0.30 when “Bitcoin Bob” @bitcoinpoet told the world to buy. A year later, on July 12, 2011, the mysterious @lol_coin appeared and Bitcoin OGs like Mircea Popescu started using “lolcoin” like we say “shitcoin” today.
Was it satire, a secret code, or Mitsubishi Goldstein’s hidden project? No one knows. But $LOLCOIN isn’t new it’s a 2011 whisper from Bitcoin’s elite, now reborn on Solana.
